The Legal Operations Director at NEOM will lead and oversee the daily operations of the Investigation Department. Key responsibilities
- Direct and manage operational activities of the Investigation Department in alignment with organizational goals and legal frameworks
- Supervise digital and physical forensic investigations, ensuring proper evidence handling and documentation
- Develop and implement quality control measures and performance benchmarks for investigative reporting
- Design, evaluate, and improve investigative workflows and protocols for operational efficiency
- Provide strategic legal insight into operational processes ensuring legal and regulatory compliance
- Build and mentor a high-performing operations and investigation team
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, HR, and external stakeholders for seamless investigation coordination
- Ensure thorough documentation of investigative processes and findings
- Present findings and reports to executive leadership as required
- Uphold NEOM's values and Code of Conduct in all operations
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Law, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience in investigations, legal compliance, or forensic operations
- 6+ years in a senior leadership or operations management role
- Expertise in forensic methodologies and legal procedures
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams including forensic analysts and legal advisors
- Track record in quality/process improvements in investigative environments
- Experience liaising with legal authorities or law enforcement agencies
- Strong knowledge of legal frameworks, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in forensic software and investigation tools
- Familiarity with quality assurance standards such as ISO 9001
