Job description
As a Product Designer at Fuse Energy, you will work directly with the CEO and co-founder to design and iterate on user interfaces for a revolutionary consumer product in the renewable energy space. You will collaborate with operations managers, front-end and backend developers to create mobile apps (iOS and Android), websites, and responsive web applications. You will also be responsible for generating creative collateral for all consumer touchpoints while ensuring design consistency and brand integrity. Your work will involve scoping sessions, feature ideation, user research, usability testing, and adaptation to evolving requirements. A strong visual sensibility and experience designing in data-driven environments is required, with the ability to work across multi-platforms and media, including motion graphics in 2D and 3D formats.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Design and iterate on user interfaces for mobile applications, websites, and responsive web applications
- Collaborate directly with the CEO and co-founder to create a groundbreaking consumer product
- Generate creative collateral for consumer touchpoints while ensuring consistency and brand integrity
- Participate in scoping and conceptualization sessions to define product requirements and user needs
- Drive the ideation of new features and functionality to enhance user experience
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions
- Maintain design consistency and standards across all platforms and devices
- Adapt quickly to evolving project requirements and seek opportunities for improvement
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of product design experience using Figma
- Experience designing consumer-facing products in data-driven environments
- Evidence of strong visual sensibility in graphic design, typography, and alternative media
- Experience with motion graphics including 2D and 3D formats
- Bachelor’s degree in a highly analytical discipline
