HPE Networking Pre-Sales Systems Engineer role based in Dubai, UAE focused on delivering pre-sales technical and consultative support for advanced enterprise networking solutions within Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). The role supports major and public sector accounts in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE, providing technical expertise across routing, switching, Wi-Fi, security, SASE, and network management platforms in both on-premises and cloud environments. The Systems Engineer is responsible for creating and defining technology roadmaps, designing tailored networking solutions, and developing proposals aligned with customer business requirements. The role involves leading Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements to demonstrate the effectiveness of HPE networking solutions and ensuring successful validation of technical capabilities. The position requires strong collaboration with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and support deal closure in complex and competitive enterprise sales environments. The engineer must maintain deep knowledge of competitive networking solutions and position HPE advantages effectively against competitors. Responsibilities include interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, anticipating customer requirements, and contributing to solution development across multiple product and service portfolios. The role requires combining technical networking expertise with business acumen to deliver customer-centric solutions that drive measurable business value. The position also involves building relationships with channel partners to enhance sales through indirect channels and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales and deployment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities
- Create and define technology roadmaps for assigned enterprise and public sector customers focusing on HPE Networking solutions
- Design, document, and present networking solutions and technical proposals aligned with customer business requirements
- Lead and support Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements to validate HPE networking solutions against customer requirements
- Collaborate with Territory Managers to qualify sales opportunities and support end-to-end pre-sales engagement processes
- Maintain knowledge of competitive networking solutions and position HPE products and differentiators effectively
- Interface with internal teams, industry experts, and external stakeholders to anticipate customer needs and develop tailored solutions
- Support technical aspects of complex deal closures and contribute to solution sales across networking product portfolios
Experience & skills
- Possess Bachelorβs degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent significant experience in networking and pre-sales technical roles
- Demonstrate minimum 8+ years of experience in technical professional roles including pre-sales or post-sales engineering in networking environments
- Demonstrate extensive experience in networking technologies including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, network security, SASE, and network management platforms
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with network access security solutions including HPE Aruba ClearPass, Juniper Access Assurance, and Cisco ISE
- Demonstrate experience working with enterprise and public sector accounts, preferably including Abu Dhabi major accounts
- Demonstrate experience in solution sales, technical consulting, and designing multi-product networking solutions in competitive markets
- Hold or demonstrate strong knowledge of networking certifications such as Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE), Cisco (CCIE), or security certifications like CISSP
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with ability to translate technical networking solutions into business value for customers
