Job description
End-to-end corporate actions processing sits at the center of this Specialist, Asset Servicing role within FAB's Funds Custody & Issuer Services department, executed in line with regulatory and compliance requirements and a sharp focus on accuracy and timeliness. You monitor and process corporate actions daily across Domestic, Regional and International markets, covering mandatory and voluntary events for products including equities, mutual funds, fixed income, hedge funds, structured funds and ETFs. Moderately intricate to extremely complex corporate action events get handled across local, regional and international markets, from receiving market and sub custodian announcements through scrubbing data and notifying clients. Client positions get reconciled with sub custodians and markets, with accruals and entitlements posted appropriately to client accounts. For voluntary events, client responses get solicited and submitted to sub custodians, markets, agents or processing banks ahead of deadline dates. Internal and external client queries get tracked and answered with clear, detailed corporate actions information aligned to market rules and best practice. Stakeholders such as markets, sub custodians, agents, companies, depositories, brokers and issuers all require ongoing communication to keep processing smooth and accurate. Beyond corporate actions, the role touches Cash/FX settlement validation, position and cash management, SWIFT instruction validation, reconciliation, and risk indicator monitoring across KPIs and KRIs. Section-related projects, system changes and process improvements round out the work, aimed at reducing manual intervention and overall cost.
