Job description
The HR Analyst - Onboarding at Al-Futtaim Group supports the full cycle of the onboarding process for new hires across the MENA region. Responsibilities include managing onboarding queries, coordinating joining formalities such as hotel bookings and e-ticket issuance, and ensuring documentation complies with UAE labor law and company policy. The analyst must ensure operational excellence through accurate SAP HR Module entries, regular data quality checks, and effective case management. The role also includes promoting continuous improvement, maintaining confidentiality, and fostering a customer-focused approach through stakeholder engagement and survey feedback. Familiarity with Salesforce, ERP tools, and shared services operations is beneficial. The HR Analyst works in a fast-paced environment without direct reports but has a significant impact on the employee onboarding experience and legal compliance.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational support for onboarding including managing queries and coordinating communication with new hires
- Process required documentation for government formalities and joining logistics like hotel bookings and e-ticket issuance
- Advise on company policies and UAE labor law in coordination with line managers and HR stakeholders
- Ensure onboarding case resolution adheres to SLA requirements and turnaround times
- Maintain data integrity through quality checks and accurate SAP entries while ensuring confidentiality
- Support customer focus by gathering feedback via surveys and direct engagement
- Promote service excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration
- Maintain updated onboarding reports, escalate issues promptly, and ensure timely case closures
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, Business, Management, or Technology
- 2–3 years of HR generalist experience in the UAE or GCC with a focus on onboarding
- Proficiency in SAP HR Module or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with helpdesk tools such as Salesforce is preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor law is essential
- Excellent communication skills, with Arabic language proficiency as a plus
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience in a fast-paced shared services environment is advantageous
