Job description
EY is seeking a Director for its Business Consulting Finance Transformation team in Riyadh. The role focuses on delivering finance transformation initiatives, setting up shared services, utilizing digital technologies to optimize finance functions, and offering strategic business insights. The Director will lead multidisciplinary teams, build and maintain strong client relationships, engage in business development activities, and oversee large, complex projects. This leadership role is instrumental in supporting the firm's growth ambitions in the MENA region while providing exceptional client service.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business development initiatives to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders at the C-suite level.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, providing mentorship and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
- Manage large and complex finance transformation and shared services projects.
- Utilize digital enablers to transform finance processes and drive innovation.
- Deliver business insights into leading practices in accounting, management reporting, and planning processes.
- Implement finance performance management and benchmarking initiatives.
- Drive project and program management excellence across finance consulting engagements.
- Develop business proposals and generate new consulting deals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within consulting teams.
Experience & skills
- 10-12 years of working experience, including 5-7 years in technology-enabled finance transformation or shared services consulting.
- MENA region experience is required.
- Proven ability to generate business deals and develop proposals.
- Strong network and ability to maintain relationships at the C-suite level.
- Bachelorās degree qualification required.
- Masterās degree preferred.
- Relevant professional qualification certificates preferred (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMA).
- Strong project and program management capabilities.
- Experience in finance digitalization initiatives and finance operations optimization.
- Commercially oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
