Job description
The General Manager at Pullman Dubai Downtown is responsible for leading all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability. The role involves developing and implementing strategic plans, overseeing operational departments including rooms division, food and beverage, sales and marketing, and finance, and ensuring compliance with local regulations, brand standards, and company policies. The General Manager drives revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies and business development initiatives, implements and monitors quality assurance programs, and maintains service excellence. The position requires building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as owners, corporate leadership, and community partners, staying informed on industry trends and competitor activities, and representing the hotel at industry and community events. This role demands strong commercial acumen, financial management expertise, and the ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

- Demonstrated commercial acumen and financial management expertise
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations including rooms division, food and beverage, and MICE
- Proficiency in revenue management and performance optimization techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with local regulations and business practices in the region
