Job description
The HR Coordinator at Wood in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end mobilisation and HR processes for new and existing employees, ensuring full compliance with Saudi labour laws and company standards. The role involves handling onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations while maintaining accurate employee records and documentation. Acting as a key liaison between internal departments and external partners, the HR Coordinator ensures smooth employee transitions and resolves issues related to mobilisation and workforce administration. The role also supports broader HR initiatives, driving operational efficiency, policy compliance, and continuous improvement within the People & Organisation (P&O) function. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Saudi employment regulations, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate employee mobilisation processes including onboarding, relocation, and visa procedures in line with Saudi labour laws
- Provide comprehensive HR support and advice across onboarding, employee relations, and HR operational activities
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure documentation accuracy in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Serve as the main liaison between employees, internal departments, and external agencies to facilitate smooth HR operations
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Saudi employment legislation and company HR policies
- Support HR initiatives, projects, and process improvement efforts to enhance HR service delivery
- Assist in the administration of benefits, insurance, and employee welfare programs
- Handle employee queries professionally and provide timely resolution to HR-related issues
- Contribute to maintaining a positive employee experience and efficient HR workflow
- Prepare HR-related reports, trackers, and correspondence as required
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR coordination, HR administration, or a similar role within Saudi Arabia
- Strong understanding of Saudi labour law, employment regulations, and visa processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable manner
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and dynamic environment
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
- Strong problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing priorities
