Job description
Accenture Security seeks a Digital Identity / Network Security Consultant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (Job No. 12588682) to administer and operate network security devices and lead security transformation as part of a global professional services organization. The role maintains expert knowledge of security technologies, drives delivery of process and system improvements with continuous improvement plans, and designs and architects security solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. Responsibilities include problem-solving to uncover and fix network and security flaws, ensuring security solutions are patched and up to date, identifying gaps and opportunities to meet high standards of security and performance, and leading a team of network security engineers. Required technical competencies span Next Generation Firewall platforms (Cisco FTD, PaloAlto), intrusion protection/detection systems (IDS/IPS), Web Application Firewall, load balancing (F5 LTM), Cisco ISE, proxy solutions, e-mail gateway, and packet capture and analysis methodologies; preferred certifications include CISSP, CCIE-Sec, F5, and SANS. The position operates within Accenture Security’s portfolio (risk strategy, digital identity, cyber defense, application security, managed services) to deliver outcomes at scale for clients.

Experience & skills
- Possess at least 6+ years of security experience covering the listed technologies/fields
- Demonstrate Next Generation Firewall experience (e.g., Cisco FTD, PaloAlto) and IDS/IPS
- Demonstrate experience with Web Application Firewall and load balancer (e.g., F5 LTM)
- Demonstrate experience with Cisco ISE, proxy solutions, and e-mail gateway
- Demonstrate proficiency in packet capture and analysis methodologies
- Hold or pursue relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCIE-Sec, F5, or SANS (preference given)
- Exhibit strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
