Job description
King Salman International Airport in Riyadh is planned for up to 120 million travellers by 2030, and Bechtel is providing PMC services for three of its new terminals. Terminal 6, the Iconic Terminal and the Private Aviation Terminal all need security and access control systems designed, built and handed over properly, and this position oversees that work. Access control, intruder detection, surveillance and operational control centre systems sit within scope, along with ownership of the terminal key suiting programme. Designers and contractors working for the customer are supervised, and their technical submissions are reviewed. Estimates, work plans and progress reports are prepared here, and Contracts & Procurement rely on you for tender documents, technical evaluations and award recommendations. Integration with building management systems and SCADA, and interfaces across multiple contracts and packages, need careful coordination. HCIS approval requirements, permits and stakeholder approvals are handled with the Stakeholder Management team. During construction, RFIs, field changes, NCRs and inspections need your support, as do vendor factory tests, commissioning and turnover verification packages. A bachelor's degree with 10 to 13 years of relevant experience, or 14 to 17 years without one, is required, plus AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks skills.
