Job description
The Product Specialist, UDS Data Management at Dell Technologies in Dubai is responsible for driving enterprise sales of modern data management platforms that support analytics and AI initiatives. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and positioning Dell’s AI Data Platform as the foundation for enterprise digital transformation. The position requires strong expertise in modern data architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse models, and AI-enabled platforms. The Product Specialist works closely with senior executives such as CIOs, CTOs, and Heads of Data to align technical capabilities with business objectives including AI adoption, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. The role combines technical expertise with consultative sales skills to guide customers through complex data and AI transformation journeys.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on data management, analytics, and AI transformation initiatives
- Identify new business opportunities and drive customer acquisition within large enterprise accounts
- Engage senior stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and Heads of Data to align solutions with business objectives
- Lead value-based sales conversations that demonstrate measurable business outcomes and ROI
- Provide subject matter expertise on Dell’s AI Data Platform and data management solutions
- Position Dell solutions competitively against traditional and next-generation data platform vendors
- Demonstrate knowledge of modern data architectures including data lakes, warehouses, lakehouse models, and vector databases
- Articulate AI use cases such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), intelligent search, and document analysis
- Collaborate with sales teams and technical specialists to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Support complex deal cycles including discovery, solution design, negotiation, and closing
- Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to customers on AI, analytics, and data transformation
- Maintain relationships with key decision-makers and drive long-term account growth
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in data management, analytics, or AI platforms
- Experience selling solutions from vendors such as Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica, Teradata, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse models
- Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders in enterprise organizations
- Ability to conduct value-based selling and connect technical solutions to business outcomes
- Knowledge of AI and analytics workflows including data engineering and data science processes
- Strong communication and presentation skills for customer-facing engagements
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles
- 8–12 years of related experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
