The General Manager – Landscaping Operations in Dubai, UAE is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of landscaping projects to ensure they are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams including landscape designers, horticulturists, groundkeepers, and other operational staff to ensure efficient execution of landscaping projects. The position requires overseeing daily operations including planning, execution, and completion of projects while ensuring alignment with company objectives, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. The General Manager is responsible for managing resource allocation including labor, equipment, and materials, as well as setting project budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring projects are delivered within time and cost constraints. The role includes maintaining strong client relationships, handling inquiries and complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery. It also involves developing and executing business development strategies to attract new clients, retain existing accounts, and negotiate contracts and service agreements. The position requires analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement. The General Manager tracks financial performance, prepares reports for senior management, and identifies cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. The role ensures compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices, while enforcing strict safety protocols to minimize workplace risks. It also includes oversight of equipment procurement, maintenance, and servicing to ensure operational readiness. Additionally, the role promotes sustainable landscaping practices such as water conservation, eco-friendly materials usage, and incorporation of native plants, ensuring environmentally responsible operations. The General Manager may also perform additional tasks as assigned by senior leadership to support overall business objectives.

- Oversee end-to-end landscaping project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion while ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Manage resource allocation including workforce, equipment, and materials to optimize operational efficiency and ensure timely project delivery.
- Set and monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure all landscaping projects are delivered within approved financial limits.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to attract new clients, retain existing accounts, and expand market presence in the landscaping sector.
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and commercial terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial and profitable outcomes.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business growth and operational improvement.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare detailed reports for senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices while enforcing safety protocols across all operations.

Experience & skills
- Demonstrate a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field providing foundational knowledge in landscaping design and plant sciences.
- Apply minimum 5 years of experience in landscape management or related operational leadership roles within landscaping or construction environments.
- Exhibit strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to oversee multidisciplinary operational teams effectively.
- Possess strong knowledge of plants, horticultural practices, irrigation systems, and sustainable landscaping methodologies.
- Demonstrate proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency across multiple landscaping projects.
- Exhibit excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple landscaping projects simultaneously.
- Apply strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and internal team coordination effectively.
- Utilize proficiency in landscape design software and Microsoft Office Suite for planning, reporting, and operational management tasks.
