Job description
The Manager, Creative Media provides strategic and creative leadership for multimedia initiatives that advance Qatar Foundationās brand and communication objectives. The role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive multimedia strategy that integrates emerging technologies, supports cross-platform storytelling, and enhances audience engagement. Leading end-to-end multimedia production, the Manager ensures strategic alignment, creative excellence, operational efficiency, and innovation across campaigns. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies, oversight of budgets, vendors, and contracts, and mentoring a high-performing multimedia team while leveraging data and performance insights to continuously improve content effectiveness.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a multimedia strategy aligned with organizational marketing and communications objectives
- Oversee multimedia projects from concept through execution, ensuring quality, timeliness, and strategic alignment
- Lead the creative process including ideation, development, and execution of multimedia content
- Integrate immersive and emerging technologies such as AR, VR, and 360° video into campaigns from early stages
- Manage production schedules, resource allocation, and task prioritization across multiple projects
- Oversee and continuously improve production workflows in line with best practices and compliance requirements
- Prepare tender documents, manage contracts, and oversee Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs)
- Make strategic decisions on vendors, budgets, and project direction to optimize outcomes
- Mentor, guide, and develop the multimedia team, fostering innovation and professional growth
- Encourage creative experimentation and a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, events, and other internal stakeholders on integrated campaigns
- Manage relationships with external agencies to ensure creative quality and strategic alignment
- Ensure all multimedia content adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards
- Monitor team and project performance, providing feedback and identifying improvement opportunities
- Analyze KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategies
- Anticipate and resolve technical, creative, and operational challenges proactively
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Media Production, Communications, Digital Media, Film, Journalism, or related field
- 8ā10 years of full-time experience in multimedia production
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong expertise in video production and emerging media technologies including AR/VR/360°
- Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management
- Demonstrated leadership in managing creative and production teams
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills
- Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking KPIs
- Advanced communication skills including report writing, creative briefs, and presentations
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
