EY-Parthenon Strategy Senior Consultant role in Dubai within EY-Parthenonās Government & Energy/Sustainability strategy consulting practice focused on delivering high-impact strategic advisory services across the MENA region. The role involves working on big-picture strategy consulting engagements including long-term strategy roadmaps, market entry and expansion strategies, growth strategies, go-to-market strategies, commercial due diligence, greenfield projects, and business-wide digital transformation initiatives. The position supports clients including global corporates, governments, public entities, family conglomerates, and sovereign wealth funds, often working directly with C-suite executives on strategic and transaction-related decisions. The role requires translating client needs into structured project workstreams and deliverables, conducting in-depth market, industry, competitor, and customer analysis, and using both qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations. It involves assessing macroeconomic trends, evaluating transaction rationales, and identifying risks and opportunities across industries. The consultant contributes to delivering strategy engagements under senior guidance while ensuring alignment with project objectives, deadlines, and scope. The role also requires strong communication skills in English and Arabic, the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and travel within the MENA region as needed. Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of strategy consulting engagements including long-term strategy roadmaps, market entry and expansion strategies, growth strategies, and go-to-market strategies across Government, Energy, and Sustainability sectors.
- Conduct detailed market, industry, competitor, and customer analyses to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic insights supporting client decision-making.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to translate complex business problems into structured workplans and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients and senior consultants to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with strategic engagement requirements.
- Support commercial due diligence, transaction analysis, and evaluation of deal rationale to identify key business risks and value drivers.
- Develop presentations, reports, and strategic outputs that clearly communicate insights, findings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders including C-suite executives.
- Contribute to macroeconomic forecasting, portfolio optimization, and sector-specific strategic assessments to support client transformation agendas.
- Manage assigned workstreams under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality analytical output and alignment with EY-Parthenon consulting standards.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate at least 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting or related roles, preferably within Government, Energy, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, or Sustainability sectors.
- Hold a bachelorās degree from a top-ranking university, with an MBA or Masterās degree from a top-tier institution considered an advantage.
- Apply strong analytical skills to assess industries, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Utilize structured problem-solving and data analysis techniques to convert complex qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English and Arabic, including professional-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibit strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure in fast-paced consulting environments.
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to travel within the MENA region (approximately 25ā50% of time) as required by client engagements.
- Show prior exposure to client advisory, strategic planning, or consulting environments with ability to work in cross-functional teams and support senior leadership.
