Job description
Jet fuel reaches aircraft at Dubai, Minhad and Fujairah through EA-owned facilities and the Snake and Falcon pipelines, and this EPPCO Aviation technical manager keeps every one of those assets safe and dependable. The Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) is yours to own, implement and update across EA, along with all technical documentation such as specifications, P&IDs and data sheets. Maintenance at aviation facilities follows AIMS, Chevron Global Aviation's Aviation Operations Manual and Quality Control Manual, and the latest JIG standards. On the pipelines, cathodic protection reports, DCVG, CIPS and PSP surveys and ILI findings need close follow-up, with sleeving, coating and anode bed repairs arranged as required. Breakdown reports are analysed for root causes and failure trends, feeding better maintenance checklists. Complicated NOCs and serious third-party violations near the pipelines call for your direct involvement with DUSUP, RTA and other parties. Pipeline and terminal automation systems must stay available, and IT and OT cybersecurity is handled with ENOC/CIS teams. Opex and capex budgets are proposed and tracked, vendors developed and long-term tenders built to cut cost and spares inventory. The EA technical committee runs under your lead, and audit observations are closed promptly. A graduate engineering degree in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation and at least 10 years in oil or petrochemical maintenance with team leadership are required, and aviation fuel or pipeline experience and SAP skills help.
