Job description
The Manager – Asset Management Consulting role within EY’s Supply Chain & Operations practice in Qatar focuses on advising power and utilities clients on optimizing asset performance and implementing asset management best practices. The position is centered on managing complex asset portfolios, driving operational excellence, and aligning asset management strategies with organizational goals. The role includes overseeing ISO 55001 implementation across asset management processes, leading Maximo implementation projects to enhance asset tracking and lifecycle management, and leveraging supply chain and operations consulting methodologies. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to monitor asset performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and embed continuous improvement practices. The role also involves staying current with industry trends, applying consulting expertise within the power and utilities sector, leading business development initiatives across the region, and contributing to EY’s broader transformation agenda using technologies such as AI, data analytics, and automation across end-to-end supply chains.

- Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with organizational and client goals within the power and utilities sector
- Oversee and lead the implementation of ISO 55001 standards across asset management processes
- Lead Maximo implementation projects to enhance asset tracking, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective asset lifecycle and portfolio management
- Monitor, analyze, and report on asset performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities
- Manage and guide teams of asset management professionals across consulting engagements
- Stay updated on asset management industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement
- Lead and drive business development initiatives across the region within asset management and supply chain consulting
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management within the power and utilities sector
- Demonstrate hands-on experience implementing ISO 55001 projects in power and utilities environments
- Hold certification in Asset Management such as ISO 55001 Lead Auditor
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with Maximo or similar asset management software platforms
- Have prior experience working in a consulting role within a Big 4 firm
- Be based in Qatar to support local and regional client engagements
