Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing vessel- and company-level budgets and forecasts
• Support timely month-end closures including intercompany transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial systems and reports
• Ensure compliance with Saudi tax laws including WHT, CIT, and VAT, and prepare monthly compliance reports
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to manage audit requirements
• Control and monitor operational budgets and ensure compliance with financial processes
• Work with shared service centers to obtain timely financial and procurement services
• Manage local petty cash in adherence to MOA policies
• Arrange accurate and timely payments to vendors, bank guarantees, and confirmations
• Submit IKTVA quarterly reports and coordinate yearly IKTVA audits
• Prepare quarterly CIF data for tax authority submission
• Raise timely and accurate customer invoices for various income streams including fuel and back charges
• Address client queries and billing discrepancies
• Follow up on overdue payments and maintain AR aging reports
• Prepare debtors and utilization reports for management
• Ensure accuracy of accounting ledgers and financial documentation
