Job description
The Director – Partnerships and Loyalty within Visa Consulting & Analytics is a senior consulting and business development role responsible for delivering high-impact partnership- and loyalty-driven consulting solutions to Visa clients. The role supports Visa Consulting & Analytics by shaping insights, delivering consulting engagements, and expanding the partnerships and loyalty practice. Responsibilities span strategic partnership development with merchants, aggregators, and ecosystem players to enhance Visa’s card propositions; loyalty program design and execution through sourcing exclusive merchant offers for Always On CNP engagements; and data-driven optimization using Visa and external datasets to analyze spend patterns, consumer preferences, campaign performance, and ROI. The role integrates partnership-led solutions into consulting projects, supports country-level consulting plans, contributes to thought leadership, and ensures operational excellence through project economics oversight, risk management, quality assurance, and payment pass-through execution. The position also drives business development by expanding Visa’s loyalty proposition, preparing proposals and marketing materials, and supporting growth initiatives across markets, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across the payments, banking, and merchant ecosystems.

Key responsibilities
- Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with merchants, aggregators, and ecosystem players to enhance Visa card proposition offerings
- Develop partnership agreement frameworks that unlock funding and resources for consulting engagements
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners to ensure sustained collaboration and growth
- Source and curate exclusive merchant offers for Visa Always On CNP loyalty engagements
- Analyze consumer spend patterns and preferences to prioritize merchants and design seasonal and thematic campaign calendars
- Manage end-to-end merchant engagement including contract negotiation, onboarding, offer activation, and performance tracking
- Conduct advanced analytics using Visa and external data sources to identify partnership opportunities and optimize loyalty impact
- Collect and analyze post-campaign performance data to measure ROI and refine merchant engagement strategies
- Collaborate with consulting teams to embed partnership-driven solutions into client projects
- Support development of country-level consulting plans aligned with partnership and loyalty objectives
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and best-practice sharing to scale loyalty programs across regions
- Oversee project economics, risk management, and quality assurance for partnership-related deliverables
- Ensure seamless execution of payment pass-through processes via aggregators when required
- Drive business growth by expanding Visa’s loyalty proposition and supporting business development initiatives
- Prepare proposals and marketing materials highlighting Visa’s partnership and loyalty capabilities
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with 7–10 years of experience in partnership development, loyalty programs, digital payments, retail banking, or management consulting
- Possess a proven track record in sourcing and negotiating merchant partnerships and designing loyalty offers
- Demonstrate strong understanding of payments, banking, and merchant ecosystems
- Apply advanced analytical skills to translate data insights into actionable strategies
- Demonstrate strong project management capabilities and experience leading cross-functional teams
- Show proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrate fluency in English
