Inception42, part of G42, turns data and compute into applied AI products, and its Senior Applied Scientists build the algorithms behind them in Abu Dhabi. Deep-learning and generative AI models are designed, analysed and optimised across computer vision, natural language processing and audio signal processing. Much of the work combines modalities, bringing text, audio and visual data together so models interpret human interaction with more nuance. Use cases span finance, oil and gas, environmental science and healthcare. Researchers and engineers across Inception collaborate on each algorithm to keep implementations efficient, reliable and scalable. Product development teams rely on you to integrate new models into wider offerings, and proofs of concept (POC) are run to match client needs. Business development also draws on your pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including proposals for where AI could make a customer's business more efficient. Success is measured on cost savings, use cases investigated, POCs deployed, processes optimised and customer NPS. Expect to bring an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering or an AI-related field, 8+ years developing AI algorithms across modalities, and a research record backed by peer-reviewed publications or product-driven R&D.
