Job description
The Engineer Operational Metrics (Business Unit: edara; Job Category: Infra; Location: Dubai International Academic City; Job Identification: 12180) is responsible for managing network, service, and subscriber level KPIs monitoring, reporting, and analytics across all telecom domains to ensure smooth operations, trigger campaigns and initiatives to improve end-to-end service performance as measured by subscriber experience, network KPIs, and regulator and third-party benchmarks against competitor. The role represents the technology team in TRA consultations and provides the regulation team with all network performance related TRA requirements, performs new network nodes acceptance and KPIs verifications prior to boarding and handover to operations, and proactively engages with Business Intelligence and customer analytics teams to share, validate, and verify data. Key outputs include PM reports, PM dashboards, Monitoring Events, new sites KPIs verification, and responses to TRAās requests and launches. The position analyzes gathered data for performance anomalies/exceptions, designs and communicates performance dashboards to report internal operational KPIs (incidents handling, time to resolve outages, tasks delivery success rates), produces special/AD-HOC performance reports, investigates and communicates performance issues to concerned teams, provides recommendations for performance improvement, and performs periodic data and reporting quality audits. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering and leadership and management certifications. Experience requirements include a minimum of 10 years in the Telecom industry with involvement in Telecom Services Performance, advanced understanding of all telecom domains, and advanced understanding of data analysis, visualization, machine learning modeling, and artificial intelligence applications. Skills include proven ability to lead large transformation projects, lead teams and groups, strong negotiation and facilitation skills, vendor management, governance and financial management, strong management skills in multi-cultural and multi-national environments, with fluency in English and Arabic as an advantage. Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering
- Possess leadership and management certifications
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Telecom industry with involvement in Telecom Services Performance
- Demonstrate advanced understanding of all telecom domains
