Job description
The Valuations and Modeling Executive (SaT) role in Jeddah supports clients with strategic planning, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and fair market value documentation needs as part of EY’s Strategy & Transactions practice. The executive makes technical contributions to valuation engagements and internal projects, gaining a thorough understanding of target businesses, their markets, and client issues through research and analysis of industries and quoted companies. Responsibilities include performing valuation calculations and analyses, building financial models from scratch, drafting presentations and reports, formulating views on value, presenting conclusions to the team, and contributing to client presentations. The role manages day-to-day client queries, attends internal and external meetings, and helps deliver valuations on time and within budget while actively developing internal and external relationships. The position emphasizes business valuation, financial modelling, fair market value documentation, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, strategic planning, industry research, analysis of quoted companies, valuation calculations, data analysis, report writing, presentation development, client engagement, and participation in meetings across the transaction process within EY’s global valuations network.

Key responsibilities
- Perform valuation calculations and analyses, formulate views on value, and contribute to client-ready deliverables.
- Build financial models from scratch to support valuation analyses and fair market value documentation.
- Conduct research and analysis on target businesses, industries, and quoted companies to understand market dynamics and client issues.
- Draft presentations and detailed valuation reports, and present conclusions to the team and clients.
- Manage day-to-day client queries and attend internal and external meetings related to valuation assignments.
- Support strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting aspects of valuation engagements.
- Contribute to on-time, within-budget delivery of valuation projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Actively establish and develop internal and external relationships to support engagement delivery and team learning.
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business.
- Demonstrate at least 3 years of related business valuation work experience.
- Show financial modelling skills, including building models from scratch.
- Provide evidence of completing challenging projects and solving complex problems.
- Ideally possess previous valuation experience in a professional services/Big 4 firm.
- Ideally have time spent working in a consulting environment.
- Ideally be achieving or making significant progress toward the CFA designation.
- Exhibit the ability to deliver valuations on time and within budget while contributing to a positive learning culture.
