Job description
The Cluster Head, Collection & Recovery UAE & MENA at Standard Chartered is responsible for leading the Collections Department to ensure efficient and effective management aligned with business goals. The role involves implementing regional cooperation and governance in collection and recovery strategies to optimize loss performance and control productivity. Key mandates include development of sustainable strategies tailored by country portfolio risk, driving tool enhancements, optimizing systems and standardizing processes. The incumbent will ensure compliance with internal standards and country-specific regulations, manage outsourcing arrangements, and promote cross-functional collaboration with Credit Risk and business units to adapt to market and behavioural trends. The position demands strong stakeholder management, advanced analytical capability, and leadership skills to drive transformation across diverse multicultural teams.

- Manage Collections Department efficiently to meet business objectives
- Implement regional cooperation and governance for collections and recovery
