The Spare Parts Manager – Hino Commercial Vehicles at Al-Futtaim Automotive (FAMCO) is responsible for leading the spare parts function in the United Arab Emirates, ensuring achievement of financial targets, operational efficiency, and high customer satisfaction across B2B and aftersales channels. The role oversees end-to-end spare parts operations including forecasting, ordering, stocking, distribution, and inventory management for genuine Hino commercial vehicle parts. The position is responsible for delivering monthly sales targets and annual budgets, managing revenue, gross margin, working capital, and inventory investment to ensure overall business profitability. The role requires maintaining optimal inventory levels to support workshops, fleet customers, distributors, and corporate clients while ensuring stock health through turnover management, ageing control, obsolescence reduction, and regular stock audits in line with OEM standards. The Spare Parts Manager coordinates closely with Hino principals and approved suppliers for procurement, pricing, promotions, warranty claims, and returns while ensuring full compliance with OEM policies and ordering procedures. The role involves strong B2B engagement, including management of fleet operators, distributors, and key accounts, while ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction. It also requires leadership of the spare parts team, including performance management, training, manpower planning, and succession development in line with organizational values. The position works closely with service, sales, finance, warranty, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless aftersales operations. The role requires use of ERP and DMS systems for parts ordering, inventory control, invoicing, and performance reporting. It also involves preparation of management reports covering sales performance, inventory status, ageing analysis, and KPIs, while ensuring compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and health and safety standards. Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end spare parts operations including forecasting, ordering, stocking, and distribution of genuine Hino commercial vehicle parts across UAE operations
- Achieve monthly spare parts sales targets and annual revenue and gross margin budgets while ensuring financial performance alignment with business objectives
- Prepare, manage, and control annual spare parts operating budgets including monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions for variances
- Manage inventory investment, working capital, and cost control to ensure optimal profitability and financial efficiency
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through forecasting, stock turnover management, ageing control, obsolescence reduction, and regular stock audits
- Liaise with Hino principals and suppliers for procurement, pricing, warranty claims, promotions, and returns ensuring full OEM compliance
- Lead and develop the spare parts team including performance management, manpower planning, training, succession planning, and capability development
- Manage B2B relationships including fleet operators, corporate clients, distributors, and dealers ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with service, sales, finance, warranty, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless aftersales and operational efficiency
- Prepare and present management reports including sales performance, inventory status, ageing reports, KPIs, and financial analysis using ERP and DMS systems
Experience & skills
- Obtain Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Demonstrate minimum 5 years of experience in spare parts or aftersales operations within UAE automotive market
- Exhibit strong B2B experience including fleet accounts, corporate customers, and distributor management
- Show proven experience in dealer and distributor operating models within commercial vehicles or heavy-duty automotive sectors
- Demonstrate strong understanding of inventory management including forecasting, stock control, and optimization techniques
- Possess strong financial acumen including budget management, revenue tracking, and gross margin control
- Exhibit knowledge of ERP and DMS systems used for inventory, ordering, invoicing, and reporting processes
- Demonstrate understanding of UAE automotive market dynamics, customer expectations, and OEM distributor operations
