This role involves supporting senior colleagues with audit strategy, managing a diverse client portfolio, reviewing team output, and serving as a key client contact. The Assistant Manager will be involved in both audit delivery and business development initiatives while guiding a team of associates.

Key responsibilities
- Leading a small, diverse portfolio of clients and delivering high-level insights on complex audit matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships with a focus on exceptional service
- Supporting senior colleagues in business development efforts from targeting to proposal execution
- Actively engaging in broader BD activities and enhancing the firm’s brand in the region
- Managing, mentoring, and coaching audit team members, offering feedback and support
- Leading and managing audit engagements for clients in the banking and financial services sector
Experience & skills
- 4-5 years of External Audit experience in a top international firm
- ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualification
- Experience working on complex audits and delegating tasks effectively
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office
- Strong technical accounting background with knowledge in IFRS, internal controls, and financial statement consolidation
- Ability to manage independent and group audit engagements across multiple clients
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical capabilities
- Willingness to work additional hours and travel as needed
