The Senior Procurement Engineer conducts subcontract procurement activities for multiple engineering and construction projects within Al-Futtaim Contracting, ensuring effective, timely, and cost-efficient delivery of procurement packages. The role involves processing subcontract enquiries, preparing Subcontract Invitations to Tender (ITT) in line with company policies and procedures, and checking prequalification of new subcontractors. Responsibilities include participating in negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal cost and lead-time terms, conducting performance evaluations to ensure quality services and products, and developing and maintaining the supplier database to keep offerings and data up to date. The role also ensures adherence to all safety, quality, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls required within Al-Futtaim Contracting’s operational framework. It specifically requires experience working with a main contractor in the UAE and strong capabilities in material procurement, subcontractor sourcing, vendor management, and adherence to engineering and project procurement processes across building, MEP, and infrastructure environments.
