Job description
The Associate Director â OS&E Category Management at Red Sea Global will oversee the entire lifecycle of Operating Supplies & Equipment procurement within the companyâs luxury hospitality sector. This includes strategy development, sourcing, procurement, inventory oversight, supplier management, pricing strategy, profitability tracking, and compliance. The role requires strong commercial acumen, hospitality sector knowledge, and the ability to build strategic vendor and stakeholder relationships while ensuring operational excellence and cost optimization.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive OS&E category strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of the OS&E category, including sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and profitability tracking.
- Act as key commercial and relationship lead for OS&E vendor partnerships and internal accounts.
- Monitor market trends, benchmark pricing, and analyze supplier dynamics to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity.
- Collaborate with operations and finance to forecast demand and purchasing volumes.
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract development ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
- Manage RFQ processes for high-value purchases, ensuring competitive quotations.
- Oversee daily purchasing operations including PO issuance and delivery coordination.
- Ensure consistent validation and updating of supplier pricing lists and records.
- Collaborate with operations to trial innovative products and maintain best-in-class assortment.
- Review and approve variance reports for pricing or quantity discrepancies.
- Implement standing orders and delivery schedules for high-consumption items.
- Manage obsolete or non-moving inventory via system updates, communication, and disposal.
- Submit monthly performance reports covering spend, savings, forecast, inventory, and supplier performance.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and compliance standards.
- Foster a high-performance team culture with accountability and continuous improvement.
- Maintain flexibility in schedule to support business needs and purchasing cycles.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 15 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or category management within hospitality and retail industries.
- Strong experience in supply chain management.
- Deep knowledge of OS&E procurement in luxury hospitality sector.
- Proven ability to align operational excellence with financial performance.
- Experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and inventory oversight.
