Job description
As a Senior Consultant in People Advisory at Grant Thornton, based in Dubai, you will be responsible for leading strategic HR initiatives and delivering comprehensive advisory services to clients across diverse industries. You will manage multiple phases of project engagements including planning, directing, and completion while working closely with senior colleagues and clients. The role involves delivering solutions in areas such as workforce planning, HR strategy alignment, organizational design, policy and procedure development, compensation, job evaluation, and HR systems implementation. You will be instrumental in developing go-to-market plans, supporting proposal preparation, maintaining client relationships, and utilizing tools like Power BI and SAS for HR data analysis. You are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality while working in a dynamic, fast-paced consulting environment that values authenticity, teamwork, and purpose-driven outcomes.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Deliver various phases of project and engagement management for multiple clients across industries
- Support development and delivery of People Advisory go-to-market plans
- Contribute to the development of product collateral including tools and templates
- Analyze HR metrics and generate reports using tools like Power BI and SAS
- Provide strategic HR advice on workforce planning, organizational design, and HR alignment
- Support business proposal preparation and timely submission to line managers
- Participate in a range of business consulting engagements and maintain client relationships
- Assist managers in identifying and resolving client problems efficiently
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues
- Adhere to high professional standards and client confidentiality
- Ensure all assigned project tasks are completed on time
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of related experience in a top international consulting firm
- Strong technical expertise in HR advisory and people/talent strategies
- Experience in HR operating model design including policy, compensation, and systems
- CIPD qualification is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI and SAS
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage
- Ability to work additional hours and travel as needed
- Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
