Job description
As a Partner Engineer at Google Cloud based in Doha, you will drive growth in cloud business by developing strategic relationships with partners. Acting as both technical advisor and advocate for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will support joint solution design, guide technical go-to-market strategies, and champion best practices in cloud deployment. Your role will include working closely with partner leadership to align business goals, execute enablement strategies, and facilitate adoption of GCP across varied industries. This position blends customer-facing collaboration with deep technical engagement, influencing both partner capability and regional cloud strategy.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize joint market opportunities with Google Cloud Partners leadership
- Participate in business plan reviews to secure technical wins
- Deliver product messaging and demonstrate GCP value proposition
- Support governance and development of Google Cloud practices with partners
- Advise partner leadership to foster cloud adoption in business cycles
- Develop regional technical strategies in collaboration with internal teams
- Drive technical enablement and go-to-market initiatives with ISVs and system integrators
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masterās or PhD preferred)
- 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture in customer-facing or support roles
- Experience with partnerships and solution design in the cloud industry
- Knowledge of market trends and sales implementation of Cloud infrastructure services
- Experience with public cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud
