Job description
ADNOC, the PMC, EPC contractors, engineering teams and vendors all meet at interfaces on a mega project, and this Wood manager in Abu Dhabi keeps those boundaries clear so scope gaps and conflicts do not slip through. Technical, contractual and operational interfaces are identified, monitored and resolved against ADNOC standards, project specifications and approved schedules. Interface risks are tackled early, and communication between parties is kept open and regular. Engineering inputs flow from multiple execution centres, including workshare and high value engineering centres, under your coordination. Discipline Design Instructions, manpower plans and requisition scopes are compiled and checked, and a work plan maps key interface dates and milestones. Escalated delays and changes need recovery plans, and conditions of contract guide decisions on schedule and change. Quality of deliverables is validated before issue, supported by Project Quality System checks, HSES reviews and Design Verification. A large interdisciplinary team, typically 50 or more, takes direction from you. Twenty years in project delivery is required, including mega ADNOC project experience, along with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
