Job description
The Investment Advisor in the Corporate & Institutional Banking division at Emirates NBD will be responsible for providing investment advisory services, collaborating closely with Relationship Managers and key clients to deliver tailored wealth solutions. The role involves delivering complex investment strategies to ultra-high net worth clients, ensuring alignment with clientsâ risk profiles and market conditions. The advisor will educate clients and internal teams on the market environment, product innovations, and investment-related processes. The position requires ongoing risk assessment, performance reporting, portfolio rebalancing, and cross-departmental collaboration for enhanced revenue generation. Candidates should possess deep expertise in equities, bonds, unit trusts, and personal investment services, with at least five years of investment-related experience. Familiarity with product pricing, legal provisions, and treasury trade procedures is essential. A finance-related degree is required, with CFA certification preferred. This role supports ENBDâs market leadership goals and digital transformation across MENAT and global markets.

Key responsibilities
- Lead Relationship Managers to ensure delivery of targeted Wealth Revenue
- Educate clients and Relationship Managers on market environment, new investment products, and advisory processes
- Deliver complex investment solutions and strategies to ultra-high net worth clients
- Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities across departments
- Achieve high revenue targets and KPIs set for senior-level investment advisors
- Assess and evaluate client risk profiles on an ongoing basis
- Identify suitable products from the bank's available investment solutions
- Construct investment portfolios based on client risk profile and asset allocation models
- Regularly report on client portfolio performance
- Review and rebalance investment portfolios in line with updated risk assessments and client discussions
Experience & skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in investment advisory and related products
- Strong knowledge of equity markets, bond markets, unit trusts, and personal investment services
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in a finance-related field
- Preferably a CFA Charterholder
- In-depth understanding of investment products, pricing structures, fees, and legal provisions
- Ability to interpret product features and guide internal stakeholders
- Familiarity with Securities Dealing and Forex trade procedures through Treasury dealers
