Job description
As Employee and Executive Communications Manager, you will be part of Visa’s Corporate Communications team for the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA) region. You will support the Senior Director of Employee and Executive Communications in planning and delivering key elements of the Employee Communications strategy to inform, engage, and empower over 1,200 employees across 20+ locations. You will collaborate with colleagues across markets to deliver high-profile communications programs, ensuring employees understand their role in Visa’s mission. This role includes managing internal channels, creating compelling content, organizing events, and executing communication strategies that strengthen Visa’s culture, employee engagement, and connection to strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities
- Elevate employee understanding and connection to Visa’s strategic priorities and culture.
- Own and launch internal communications programs to communicate goals, programs, processes, and leadership vision.
- Support delivery of internal communications plan by developing regional strategies on organizational priorities.
- Manage internal digital channels including intranet, Viva Engage, and digital signage.
- Develop ongoing content for internal platforms including announcements, intranet articles, internal social posts, and executive presentations.
- Plan and execute internal events such as All Staff meetings, Town Halls, and employee engagement events.
- Support communication strategies that promote Visa’s sponsorships and social impact initiatives for employee participation.
- Educate stakeholders and regional communications team on employee communication best practices.
- Manage internal communications calendar and campaign performance reports.
Experience & skills
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 2 years with an Advanced Degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
- Preferred: 6 or more years with a Bachelor’s Degree, 4 or more with an Advanced Degree, or 3 or fewer with a PhD.
- Highly proficient written and verbal English skills, with strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- 6-8 years of experience in employee communications, in-house or agency.
- Experience creating and delivering communications that inform, engage, and inspire diverse employee groups.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with tactical delivery to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with leaders and stakeholders, advising and challenging constructively.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments and managing multiple priorities.
- Proactive approach with initiative to launch new projects and maximize existing programs.
