Job description
The Handover Specialist for Al-Futtaim Automotive (Electric Mobility/BYD) takes full ownership of the end-of-sale delivery experience by promoting effective referrals to Showroom Managers to ensure 100% second facing to enhance Net Promoter Score (NPS), supporting the sales team in achieving monthly unit sale targets through a structured âone offerâ journey and meeting set trade-ins, preparing vehicles according to BYD standards, and handing over vehicles to customers in a tailored, customer-focused manner. The role welcomes all showroom visitors; manages lead intake across telephone, web, and walk-in enquiries; captures customer data (test drive details, Emirates ID, email address, and related records); achieves 100% of mandatory training as per Al-Futtaim and OEM requirements; and maintains knowledge of competition activities to counter customer arguments. Reporting to the Sales Manager and working closely with sales and broader stakeholders, the specialist ensures documentation accuracy and compliance during handover, coordinates with internal teams to align timelines, and protects the brand experience by delivering consistent, high-quality delivery processes for electric mobility customers across the UAE.

- Prepare vehicles according to BYD standards prior to delivery.
- Handover vehicles to customers in a customer-focused, tailored manner ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance.
- Welcome all showroom visitors and manage first contact experience.
- Manage lead intake and follow-up across telephone, web, and walk-in enquiries.
- Capture and maintain customer data including test drive details, Emirates ID, email address, and related records.
- Complete 100% of mandatory training as per Al-Futtaim and OEM requirements within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor activities to effectively counter customer arguments.
- Coordinate closely with the Sales Manager, sales team, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery execution.
Experience & skills
- 2â3 yearsâ experience in the premium or luxury automotive retail industry interacting with high-end customers.
- Premium or luxury customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability for timely resolution of customer matters.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in English; Arabic is advantageous.
- Valid UAE driverâs license.
