The role encompasses marketing strategy creation (analyzing target markets, identifying unique selling points, selecting channels and tactics, and executing the plan); brand management (developing brand guidelines, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity, and monitoring brand perception among members and the wider community); and end-to-end digital marketing (website optimization, content creation, social media management, email marketing, online advertising, and maintaining up-to-date presence on new social platforms). It includes building paid and organic social strategies focusing on direct response, loyalty, engagement, membership, and new customer acquisition; member acquisition and retention initiatives to drive sign-ups and elevate engagement and satisfaction; event promotion for regattas, social gatherings, and training programs via event materials, online platforms, and partnerships; and clear, compelling communications across websites, social channels, newsletters, and press releases while engaging members and stakeholders for feedback and relationship-building. Responsibilities further include market research and analysis (trends, competitor analysis, member preferences) to inform data-driven decisions; budget management (resource allocation, expense tracking, ROI accountability); adherence to policies, systems, processes, procedures, standards and timely functional MIS/reporting; application of safety, quality and environmental management policies; and continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices aligned to international best practice to improve business processes, reduce cost, and increase productivity. Context: Work closely with the GM on the pre-opening and ongoing promotion of the Amaala Yacht Club & Marina at Amaala Triple Bay, aiming to position it as the unrivalled yacht club on the Red Sea coast with a shared commitment to ocean health.
