Job description
The Policy & Partnership Analyst at Al-Mujadilah Center will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the Centerâs policy and partnerships strategy. The role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative research, supporting program design, and executing capacity-building initiatives focused on promoting womenâs representation and participation locally and globally. The analyst will assist in shaping the Centerâs policy agenda, developing surveys, authoring impact reports, and building partnerships with local, regional, and international stakeholders. Working closely with the Policy and Partnerships Manager and the Executive Directorâs Office, this role contributes to high-level strategy execution, data reporting, and the internationalization of the Centerâs programs.

Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of Al-Mujadilahâs partnerships framework and annual activations.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, field work, and stakeholder consultations to guide program design.
- Design, organize, and implement capacity-building programs that promote womenâs representation and participation in the local and global community.
- Support the Policy and Partnerships Manager in shaping and advancing the Centerâs policy agenda and framework.
- Identify and engage with local, regional, and international stakeholders to foster meaningful collaborations.
- Collect and analyze departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with Al-Mujadilahâs monitoring and evaluation framework.
- Assist in authoring annual impact reports and contribute to other reporting requirements to highlight the work of Al-Mujadilahâs partnerships.
- Assist in designing surveys and research projects focused on womenâs religious education, leadership skills, health, economic, and social development from the concept stage to dissemination of findings.
- Work with the Executive Directorâs Office to provide data and develop reports, presentations, and other material critical to promoting Al-Mujadilah programs and impact.
- Support the development and implementation of Al-Mujadilahâs internationalization strategy.
- Other reasonable tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in a relevant field such as Gender Studies, Islamic Studies, Political Science, or International Relations.
- 6â8 years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proven experience in policy research and advocacy.
- Experience in capacity building and/or education program implementation.
- Familiarity with curriculum design.
- Experience in organizing medium to large public events.
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop innovative capacity-building programs across sectors.
- Experience in dynamic, start-up, or cross-functional environments.
- Track record in building and sustaining institutional partnerships and collaborative programs.
- Knowledge of Muslim womenâs issues and experience with faith-based or educational programming.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and strategic mindset.
- Excellent writing and communication skills; Arabic proficiency is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High level of motivation, responsibility, and commitment to womenâs empowerment.
