The Manager, Treasury at M42 Corporate in Abu Dhabi is a key member of the finance leadership team responsible for managing the organizationās liquidity, funding, banking relationships, and financial risks within a global healthcare organization operating more than 480 facilities across 27 countries. The role leads daily, weekly, and medium-term cash positioning and cash forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational, capital, and debt service needs, while optimizing cash concentration, cash pooling, and intercompany funding structures. The Treasury Manager drafts and implements Treasury Policy and Treasury Procedures, ensures compliance with Delegation of Authority, and oversees the rollout and automation of a Treasury Management System (TMS) aligned with governance standards and organizational risk appetite. The position manages banking relationships, negotiates and oversees bank facilities, guarantees, and letters of credit, and monitors counterparty risk within approved limits. The role supports debt financing and refinancing activities, covenant monitoring, funding analysis, interest cost optimization, maturity profiling, and execution of loans, bonds, and other financial instruments. The Treasury Manager identifies, measures, and manages Foreign Exchange (FX) risk, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk, implements hedging strategies in line with Treasury Policy, and ensures accurate documentation and reporting of derivatives. Responsibilities include overseeing payments, bank account management, signatory controls, maintaining strong internal controls, segregation of duties, and compliance with ICOFR, as well as supporting internal and external audits and regulatory reporting. The role prepares treasury dashboards, cash forecasts, and KPI reporting, provides insights to senior finance leadership, and collaborates with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Business Units in a regulated, governance-driven healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities
- Manage daily, weekly, and medium-term cash positioning and cash forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational, capital, and debt service requirements, and optimize cash concentration, cash pooling, and intercompany funding structures across the organization.
- Build and maintain banking relationships with financial institutions, negotiate and oversee bank facilities, guarantees, and letters of credit, and monitor counterparty risk in accordance with approved limits and Treasury Policy.
- Support debt financing and refinancing activities by conducting funding analysis, interest cost evaluation, maturity profiling, covenant monitoring, and assisting in the execution of loans, bonds, and other financial instruments to optimize capital structure.
- Identify, measure, and manage Foreign Exchange (FX) risk, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk, implement hedging strategies aligned with Treasury Policy, and ensure accurate derivatives documentation and reporting.
- Oversee treasury operations including payments processing, bank account management, signatory controls, and maintain strong internal controls, segregation of duties, and compliance with ICOFR within a governance-driven environment.
- Lead the drafting and implementation of Treasury Policy and Treasury Procedures, monitor compliance with Delegation of Authority, and support internal and external audits as well as regulatory reporting requirements.
- Drive the rollout, automation, and optimization of a Treasury Management System (TMS) to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and align treasury operations with organizational strategy and governance standards.
- Prepare treasury dashboards, cash forecasts, and KPI reporting, provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior finance leadership, and collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Business Units to support enterprise-wide financial decision-making.
Experience & skills
- Obtain a Bachelorās degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, with professional qualifications such as ACT, CFA, CPA, or ACCA preferred to support advanced treasury and corporate finance expertise.
- Demonstrate 7ā10 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking, preferably within large, complex, or multi-entity organizations operating in regulated environments.
- Exhibit strong expertise in Liquidity Management, Cash Forecasting, Cash Concentration, Cash Pooling, Intercompany Funding, and Treasury Management practices to ensure optimal cash utilization and funding efficiency.
- Show hands-on experience supporting Debt Financing, Refinancing, Covenant Monitoring, and execution of Loans, Bonds, and other Financial Instruments, including analysis of funding options and interest costs.
- Demonstrate capability in Financial Risk Management including Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Liquidity Risk Management, and implementation of Hedging Strategies with proper Derivatives Documentation.
- Apply strong governance and control mindset by ensuring compliance with Treasury Policy, Treasury Procedures, Delegation of Authority, ICOFR, and supporting Internal and External Audits and regulatory reporting obligations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in implementing and managing a Treasury Management System (TMS), driving automation initiatives, and enhancing operational efficiency and internal controls within treasury operations.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills to effectively partner with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Business Units, and banking counterparties in a governance-driven healthcare organization.
