Job description
Habshan is where this PMC piping construction post is based, acting as ADNOC's representative over EPC contractor piping work for Wood. Construction activities are monitored against approved drawings, method statements and IFC deliverables, and contractor sequences, work packs and resource plans are validated before work proceeds. Zero Incident is the safety culture to champion, backed by permit-to-work compliance, site audits, risk assessments and incident investigations. Inspections, tests and certifications are witnessed, ITPs are implemented with QA/QC, and NCRs are closed properly. Contractor progress, productivity and manpower reports come to you for review, and inefficiencies get challenged. Variations and claims related to construction draw on your input for the commercial team. Critical path issues and delays trigger recovery plans, with progress reported to PMC management and ADNOC. Site technical queries and interfaces between contractors and disciplines are resolved as they arise. Pre-commissioning, mechanical completion, punch list clearance and system handover close out the scope. Fifteen years in oil and gas is required, including 3 in a similar post and 5 in a PMC role on ADNOC or Middle East projects over USD 500M, along with eligibility for CICPA and a UAE work visa.
