Job description
Finance Director β GCC responsible for leading regional finance strategy for a globally recognised construction materials manufacturing organisation based in Dubai. The role is part of the executive committee and involves shaping financial strategy across GCC markets, ensuring robust financial control frameworks, overseeing budgeting cycles, capital allocation decisions, and risk management systems. The position requires oversight of all financial operations including transaction processing systems, benefit plan administration, due diligence on new projects, contract negotiations, banking relationships, and investment activities. The Finance Director is responsible for translating regional financial strategy into actionable objectives ensuring standardised and transparent financial delivery across the GCC cluster. The role includes participation in executive leadership decisions impacting business performance, analysing market trends to identify revenue opportunities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and governance standards. The position also requires leadership in building and mentoring finance teams, driving continuous process improvement, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring financial performance aligns with organisational objectives. The role directly contributes to profitability, sustainable growth, and long-term value creation across multiple GCC markets within a global manufacturing and production environment.

- Define and execute regional finance strategy across GCC ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial governance standards
- Oversee budgeting, capital allocation, financial planning, and forecasting processes across the GCC region
- Manage financial operations including transaction processing systems, banking relationships, investments, and contract negotiations
- Lead risk management, compliance, and financial control frameworks to ensure regulatory and operational adherence
- Analyse market trends and financial performance to identify revenue opportunities and support strategic decision-making
- Participate in executive committee decisions and support business growth and strategic planning initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams to enhance capability, performance, and organisational effectiveness
Experience & skills
- Hold Masterβs degree in Finance or Business Administration (MBA highly desirable)
- Possess 15+ years of experience in financial control or planning roles in large organisations
- Demonstrate experience in senior finance leadership positions with executive-level responsibility
- Show strong expertise in budgeting, risk management, and strategic financial planning
- Demonstrate ability to manage financial operations including investments, banking relationships, and contract negotiations
- Exhibit experience in compliance management and regulatory financial environments
- Demonstrate strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Possess professional accounting certification such as Public Accountant, Management Accountant, or Financial Accountant (preferred)
