Job description
Individual contributor Solution Engineer role within Microsoftâs AI Business Solutions team in Riyadh focused on pre-sales for Power Platform and Dynamics 365. Works with Solution Specialists, Customer Success and partners to understand customer needs, goals and challenges; qualifies opportunities; designs solution architectures; and delivers industry-aligned demonstrations that showcase how Microsoft AI, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform drive digital transformation (new revenue, operational efficiency, personalized experiences and automation). Addresses technical proof requirements, competitive objections and solution architecture considerations to secure solution design endorsement, then supports formalizing the customer proposal and aligning on deployment plans and KPIs with partners and Customer Success. Applies best practices in discovery and value-based selling, leverages knowledge of cloud/hybrid/on-prem infrastructures, migrations and industry standards, and advances pipeline revenue while building trusted relationships with business and technical decision makers (CxO/BDM/TDM). Role is 3 days/week in-office, with 0â25% travel.",

Key responsibilities
- Advance qualified pipeline by demonstrating solution capabilities, meeting technical proof requirements and securing solution design endorsement
- Lead discovery sessions to elicit customer-agreed business challenges and win themes prioritized by business value
- Deliver compelling, customer-centric, industry-aligned demonstrations for Dynamics 365, Power Platform and AI workloads to CxO/BDM/TDM audiences
- Address solution architecture considerations and handle competitive objections
- Engage account teams to land solution envisioning sessions and business value assessments
- Assist in formalizing the customer proposal and align with partners and Customer Success on deployment plan and KPIs
- Collaborate across Solution Specialists, Customer Success and partners to qualify deals, develop strategy and inspire decision makers
Experience & skills
- 7+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience with a strong development background
- Experience with cloud, hybrid or on-prem infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards and/or technology management
- Technical pre-sales experience for business applications and/or in a SaaS company
- Proficiency in discovery and crafting solution strategies that differentiate vs. competition and expand product opportunities
- Ability to influence stakeholders across organizational boundaries with strong presentation, envisioning, writing and verbal skills
- Proven track record orchestrating resources for complex digital transformation engagements
- Knowledge of commercial cloud offerings (ideally Microsoft cloud) and competitive business applications ecosystems
- Facility with business value selling methodologies and conveying business outcomes through demos and proofs
