Job description
The GenAI Engineer role is responsible for designing, building, and delivering generative AI solutions using the UnifyApps no-code platform. The role focuses on creating AI agents and GenAI applications leveraging application, automation, data, and AI agent modules. Responsibilities include advanced prompt engineering and implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, including chunking, embedding, vectorization, reranking, grounding, and guardrails to ensure high-quality outputs in both Arabic and English. The role involves training and fine-tuning large language models through prompt engineering and related techniques, developing agent evaluation frameworks using golden test sets, and tracking performance and accuracy. The position also supports customer delivery through discovery sessions, user story definition, PoC and MVP development, and rapid iteration with stakeholders. The GenAI Engineer acts as a subject matter expert on the UnifyApps platform, contributing structured feedback to influence product roadmap evolution.

Key responsibilities
- Design and build GenAI applications and AI agents using the UnifyApps no-code builder and its application, automation, data, and AI agent modules.
- Engineer prompts and RAG pipelines including chunking, embeddings, vectorization, reranking, grounding, and guardrails for Arabic and English outputs.
- Create golden test sets and apply agent evaluation frameworks to measure and track AI accuracy and performance.
- Perform LLM training and fine-tuning through prompt engineering and related techniques.
- Lead customer discovery sessions, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and build PoCs and MVPs.
- Iterate rapidly with stakeholders to refine GenAI solutions.
- Develop deep expertise in the UnifyApps platform and provide structured feedback to influence product roadmap decisions.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 2 to 4 years of experience building real-world AI, LLM, or agent-based applications.
- Exhibit professional proficiency in Arabic and English for reading, writing, and communication.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of generative AI concepts including LLMs, multi-agent systems, MCP/A2A, RAG pipelines, grounding, hallucination control, AI governance, auditability, and HITL.
- Demonstrate experience with model operations including prompt engineering, golden test set creation, agent evaluation frameworks, A/B testing, regression analysis, and basic fine-tuning using PEFT or LoRA.
- Demonstrate experience integrating systems using REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, OAuth, and webhooks to create end-to-end application flows.
