The Senior Digital Marketing role within Al-Futtaim Retail (M&S UAE) is responsible for leading brand-level media planning, media buying, and social media execution in partnership with external agencies. The role focuses on driving brand awareness, engagement, local relevance, and business impact through strategic media investment and optimized digital and offline campaign execution. The position owns the end-to-end media planning process, including briefing media agencies, evaluating channel recommendations, managing campaign budgets, and ensuring optimal allocation across digital and offline platforms such as META, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, programmatic channels, and out-of-home (OOH) media. The role requires continuous monitoring of media performance, pacing, and optimization based on data-driven insights, ensuring strong return on investment and alignment with brand strategy. In addition to media buying responsibilities, the role manages the brand’s social media presence in collaboration with social media agencies, overseeing content strategy, content calendars, approval processes, and ensuring all communications align with brand guidelines. The Senior Digital Marketing role oversees both always-on and campaign-led social activities, ensuring high engagement, reach, audience growth, and brand relevance across platforms. The position acts as the primary liaison with media and social agencies, setting KPIs, deliverables, and strategic direction while ensuring performance accountability. It also requires close collaboration with internal teams including brand principals, merchandising, buying, and broader marketing functions across fashion and food divisions. The role involves advanced use of digital analytics tools, BI systems, and platform insights to evaluate campaign performance using engagement, reach, views, and audience growth metrics, and to consolidate multi-channel data into performance dashboards. The position also requires expertise in ad operations, including tagging, pixel implementation, tracking setup, and compliance with platform policies. The Senior Digital Marketing professional continuously monitors emerging digital trends and platform innovations to enhance brand visibility and effectiveness in a competitive retail environment.

Key responsibilities
- Lead brand-level media planning and media buying activities across digital and offline channels, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business objectives.
- Develop, brief, and manage media agency outputs, including evaluating channel recommendations, optimizing media plans, and ensuring efficient budget allocation.
- Monitor campaign performance across platforms such as META, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, programmatic advertising, and OOH, ensuring continuous optimization and ROI improvement.
- Manage end-to-end media budgets including pacing, tracking, reconciliation, and ensuring efficient spend across all campaign activities.
- Oversee brand social media strategy and execution in collaboration with agencies, including content calendar approval and content performance management.
- Ensure all social media content and campaigns align with brand guidelines, maintaining consistency, engagement, and brand equity across platforms.
- Analyze campaign performance using digital analytics tools, BI systems, and platform insights to generate actionable insights and performance dashboards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for media and social agencies, defining KPIs, deliverables, and ensuring accountability for campaign outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, merchandising, buying, and brand teams to align media strategies with overall business and brand objectives.
Experience & skills
- Apply at least 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, media planning, or integrated digital marketing roles within retail or consumer-facing industries.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience managing media buying and social media agencies across multiple digital and offline channels.
- Exhibit strong understanding of digital media strategy, media planning frameworks, and brand-level campaign execution.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of digital media metrics, attribution models, and campaign measurement techniques.
- Apply experience in managing campaign optimization, budget pacing, and media spend reconciliation across multiple platforms.
- Demonstrate ability to translate business and brand objectives into clear, structured agency briefs and campaign strategies.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills to interpret complex performance data and convert insights into actionable marketing decisions.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills across cross-functional teams and agencies.
- Possess high attention to detail with strong capability in managing multiple campaigns, timelines, and budgets simultaneously.
