Job description
The Compliance & Government Relations Manager for Quick Commerce at Q-Express Documents Transport ensures organizational adherence to all regulatory requirements while managing proactive government engagement across multiple sites. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a compliance framework, including licenses, permits, and regulatory documentation, conducting audits and gap assessments, and maintaining compliance dashboards. It also includes monitoring legislative changes, building relationships with regulatory bodies, supporting branch-level regulatory interactions, and advising leadership on regulatory impacts. The position collaborates cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure integrated compliance coverage, provides guidance for new site launches and operational changes, maintains documentation standards, and reports compliance and government relations status to senior leadership on a regular cadence. Advanced Excel and SQL skills support tracking, reporting, and analysis for compliance activities.

- Own and maintain the site compliance framework, including licensing, permits, and regulatory documentation across all sites.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and gap assessments to identify and resolve potential regulatory risks.
- Ensure timely renewal and tracking of all regulatory permits and licenses, maintaining accurate compliance registers and dashboards.
- Develop, maintain, and report compliance metrics and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant government bodies, regulatory authorities, and enforcement agencies to support operational compliance.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes that may impact operations and proactively advise leadership to mitigate risks.
- Support Branch Managers in managing regulatory interfaces at the site level and ensure consistent communication with authorities.
- Develop and implement government engagement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, and Engineering teams to integrate compliance and government relations into operational workflows.
- Provide compliance and government relations input for new site launches, expansions, and operational changes to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Maintain documentation standards for all regulatory correspondence and government interactions.
- Report compliance and government relations status to senior leadership on a regular cadence, highlighting risks, actions, and outcomes.
- Drive process improvements, standardize procedures, and enhance reporting systems for regulatory compliance and government engagement.
- Manage schedules, project plans, and timelines for compliance initiatives to ensure timely delivery of obligations.
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of program or project management experience, preferably in logistics or regulated operations.
- 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLookUps, and proficiency in SQL for data tracking and reporting.
- 3+ years of experience in delivering end-to-end projects and communicating results to senior leadership.
- 3+ years of experience driving process improvements and implementing operational efficiencies.
- Proven stakeholder management experience, interacting with multiple levels of an organization.
- Experience in building processes, project management, and operational schedules to ensure regulatory compliance and efficiency.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to monitor compliance and regulatory metrics effectively.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills for regulatory correspondence and leadership updates.
- Capacity to integrate compliance and government relations requirements into new site launches and operational changes.
