Job description
In this role you will independently oversee the treasury function of a leading organisation in Dubai, providing comprehensive leadership across cash management, debt management, and investment activities. You will play a pivotal part in raising capital, executing deals with financial institutions, and advising on insurance matters. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, acting as an expert advisor on all banking-related issues to support business objectives. You are responsible for conducting borrowing and investment activities while managing working capital, cash flow functions, and liquidity to ensure optimal financial performance. Your responsibilities include overseeing performance bonds and guarantees, managing the issuance of letters of credit, and resolving foreign exchange currency issues by mitigating capital market risks and interest exposures. You will assist the FP&A team by providing key inputs into balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for annual planning purposes. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations, anti-money laundering rules, and other requirements governing cash transactions and banking operations. You will work closely with legal teams to review insurance clauses in supplier contracts and develop standard insurance requirements for rental agreements, liaising with brokers for competitive rates. In this role you will develop treasury policies and strategies in partnership with company leaders, prepare annual treasury budgets, and provide support on mergers and acquisitions, while organising and supervising the work of assigned team members to ensure efficient operations.
