Job description
Responsible for leading, planning, and executing internal communications strategies for designated Corporate Units within Mubadala’s Group Communications framework. The Senior Associate acts as a trusted communications partner to Corporate Unit leaders, project teams, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all messaging is aligned with organizational priorities, policies, and governance standards. This role involves end-to-end management of internal communications campaigns, including the conceptualization, content creation, execution, and evaluation of campaigns designed to engage employees, reinforce corporate values, and support organizational initiatives. The Senior Associate ensures that communication efforts support employee awareness, understanding, and alignment with key business objectives, including strategic growth, portfolio expansion, and organizational transformation. Responsibilities include providing guidance on best practices in internal communications, developing content that is clear, concise, and audience-focused, and leveraging modern digital tools and channels to maximize engagement and reach. The role also involves coordinating high-profile corporate events and conferences, ensuring communications are consistent, timely, and of high quality, while managing multiple stakeholders, timelines, and approvals. The Senior Associate monitors and measures communications effectiveness, gathers insights, and makes recommendations to improve engagement and organizational impact. Acting as a bridge between leadership and employees, the position fosters collaboration across departments, ensures alignment with corporate standards, enhances employee experience, and supports the organizational culture of accountability, integrity, and partnership. The role is hybrid-based, providing flexibility while maintaining close collaboration with key stakeholders in Abu Dhabi.

- Lead and manage internal communications requirements for designated Corporate Units, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
- Act as a trusted communications partner to stakeholder project teams, providing guidance on effective internal communications strategies
- Plan, execute, and own internal communications campaigns and activities end-to-end
- Support communications for major events and conferences for the Corporate Units, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with Group standards
- Develop high-quality, fit-for-purpose communications content across multiple channels
- Apply modern digital tools to elevate the effectiveness and professionalism of communications delivery
- Ensure communications governance, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure messaging is audience-focused, clear, and impactful
- Manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and campaign deliverables effectively
- Advise and support stakeholders on best practices in internal communications, change communications, and engagement strategies
- Track and report on communications effectiveness and impact, providing insights for continuous improvement
- Foster strong partnerships with internal teams to embed communications within organizational initiatives
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, judgment, and attention to detail in all communications activities
- Contribute to shaping the corporate culture through strategic, clear, and engaging internal communications
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in internal and corporate communications or marketing roles
- Proven experience in campaign execution, internal communications, and event-related communications within large and complex organizations
- Strong knowledge of internal communications channels, planning, and best practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills
- Strong content development and editing capabilities
- Ability to lead multiple projects and manage competing timelines
- Proficiency in modern digital communications tools and platforms
- High level of judgment, attention to detail, and professionalism
- Effective collaboration and partnership mindset with internal stakeholders
- Experience in delivering audience-focused, high-impact communications across corporate settings
