Job description
The Manager – Partnerships and Global Steering at Etihad Airways is responsible for maximizing revenue from joint ventures and global account strategies. This role involves detailed performance monitoring of JV trunk routes, advising on revenue enhancement actions, and driving sales strategies for new routes and key global accounts. The position requires cross-functional collaboration with revenue management, alliances, and sales teams to align performance targets and develop data-driven business cases. This role also supports the implementation of targeted incentive models, structured reporting, and commercial planning in compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze the commercial performance of joint ventures and partnerships.
- Track KPIs for JV trunk routes to identify trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Advise sales teams and BDMs on improving JV contribution with data-driven recommendations.
- Support creation of route-level reviews, business cases, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure all analysis and recommendations comply with ATI governance and JV regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align performance targets and joint initiatives.
- Maintain dashboards and tools for consistent visibility into JV and global account performance.
- Analyze global account data using internal and external tools (PRISM, DDS).
- Support strategic incentive modeling to optimize revenue across all global channels.
- Work with regional teams to address performance gaps at point of sale and account levels.
- Provide reporting requirements and reference data to Sales Enablement team.
- Assist in steering sales activities for new route launches.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5+ years in airline partnerships, revenue management, or global sales.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into insights.
- Experience managing JV partnerships across international markets preferred.
- Thorough understanding of airline revenue and commercial functions.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; high level of numeracy required.
- Experience using PRISM, DDS, and market intelligence platforms is an advantage.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Cultural awareness and the ability to work across diverse teams.
