Job description
Splunk wants its technology designed into the managed security, observability, infrastructure and digital-resilience services that MSPs and MSSPs sell across MEA-TRC East, and this Dubai-based lead is there to make that happen. The role is an individual contributor post that turns the wider EMEA MSP strategy into a regional go-to-market and sales plan. Partner ownership stays with the Partner Development Manager (PDM) or Partner Sales Manager (PSM), so influence without direct control is the working style. Priority markets, segments and verticals are identified, new MSPs onboarded and campaigns built to generate pipeline, net-new logos and recurring revenue. Adoption of the Splunk MSP Program across the region is led from here, with advice to partners and internal teams on commercial models, pricing, contracting, licensing and partner economics. Close work with the MSP Partner Technical Manager (PTM) keeps the regional plan technically sound. Commercial negotiations with MSP and MSSP partners often involve legal, finance, pricing and deal-desk teams to reach scalable agreements. Regular MSP business reviews go to regional, EMEA and partner leadership. Extensive experience with MSPs, MSSPs, cloud providers or technology partners is expected, along with a strong grasp of recurring-revenue and consumption-based models, fluent English and ideally Arabic.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regional MSP sales and go-to-market plan in line with the EMEA MSP strategy and regional priorities
- Ensure priority partners have a clear MSP strategy embedded within the partner plans owned by PDMs and PSMs
- Support PDMs and PSMs in defining MSP growth plans, revenue ambitions, enablement requirements and joint go-to-market activities
- Build a scale plan to onboard new MSPs, grow existing MSP capabilities and drive new customer acquisition
- Identify priority markets, customer segments, industry verticals and MSP propositions with the strongest potential for scalable growth
- Create campaigns and initiatives that generate MSP pipeline, net-new logos and recurring revenue
- Review regional MSP pipeline progress, performance and execution with sales and partner teams
- Lead regional adoption and execution of the Splunk MSP Program
- Advise partners and internal teams on MSP commercial models, pricing, contracting, licensing and partner economics
- Enable Splunk sales, partner and technical teams on the MSP route to market and program positioning
- Partner with the MSP Partner Technical Manager (PTM) to keep the regional plan technically aligned and supported
- Guide partners in launching differentiated Splunk-powered managed services designed into their service catalogues
- Negotiate scalable commercial agreements with MSP and MSSP partners alongside legal, finance, pricing and deal-desk teams
- Resolve complex pricing, licensing, contractual and route-to-market considerations
- Deliver MSP business reviews and updates to regional, EMEA and partner leadership teams
- Monitor regional market dynamics, competition, regulation, customer demand and managed-service trends
Experience & skills
- Bring extensive experience working with MSPs, MSSPs, service providers, cloud providers or technology partners
- Demonstrate success in sales, business development, partner development or go-to-market roles
- Understand the regional MSP and MSSP market, business models, customer requirements and competitive dynamics in depth
- Translate regional strategies into executable partner and sales plans
- Show strong understanding of recurring-revenue, consumption-based, managed-service and partner-led business models
- Offer experience developing and launching partner-led managed services or technology-based service offerings
- Apply strong commercial acumen to complex pricing, contracting and negotiation discussions
- Influence stakeholders across partner, sales, technical, executive, regional and global teams without direct ownership
- Possess strong pipeline management, forecasting, business planning and executive communication skills
- Contribute knowledge of security, observability, infrastructure monitoring, cloud or digital-resilience markets (highly desirable)
- Communicate fluently in English, with Arabic or another relevant regional language an advantage
