Job description
The Vice President International Corporate Relationship Management role is responsible for proactively managing QNB Groupās selected Corporate Banking portfolio, branches, and affiliates to achieve defined revenue, profit, profitability, and volume targets in compliance with QNB Group credit policies, procedures, standards, regulatory requirements, and international best market practices. The role supports the formulation and execution of corporate branch strategies and the implementation of GCIB initiatives, including Global Wholesale Banking (GWB) and Global Account Management (GAM), across the assigned portfolio. The incumbent identifies and develops new business opportunities across QNB Group functions and branches, aligned with the approved Global Account Management concept, to enhance group synergies, cross-selling, profitability, revenue generation, service quality, and delivery effectiveness. The role ensures comprehensive identification and prioritization of client banking needs, acts as a focal single point of contact for selected corporate clients, maintains superior customer service standards, and ensures compliance with regulatory, credit, and risk management frameworks. The position also includes oversight of portfolio credit profiles, credit assessments, due diligence, approval recommendations, KPI implementation, balanced scorecard usage, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, audit support, and leadership of multi-level relationship management teams across international and regional markets.

Key responsibilities
- Implement strategies and plans to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets for the selected corporate banking portfolio
- Support the EVP International Corporate in developing and implementing Key Performance Indicators for systematic performance monitoring and evaluation
- Manage assets, liabilities, revenues, and profitability in line with QNB Group budgets and corporate strategy
- Coordinate with corporate branches, subsidiaries, and international units to review financial performance and achieve budget objectives
- Implement KPIs and best practices for International Corporate Relationship Management
- Promote cost efficiency, productivity optimization, and cost consciousness across the portfolio
- Coordinate with Retail, Treasury, Head Office support functions, GSF, GTB, QNB Capital, and QNBFS to support cross-selling and group synergies
- Provide a single point of contact for selected corporate clients and ensure superior customer service delivery
- Maintain, develop, and expand corporate client relationships and identify new banking opportunities
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to improve turnaround times
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, QNB policies, procedures, and best market practices
- Manage, coach, and motivate VPs, AVPs, Managers, and Associates to achieve financial and non-financial targets
- Monitor and manage portfolio credit profiles in line with risk management parameters and implement corrective measures when required
- Conduct due diligence, credit assessments, and recommend credit proposals for approval
- Oversee portfolio balance and performance to ensure achievement of assigned targets
- Maintain and monitor the portfolio database and client contact records
- Supervise client visits, meetings, presentations, and documentation collection for credit review and safe custody
- Identify early warning signals on problematic accounts and ensure timely remedial actions
- Supervise the roll-out of conventional corporate banking products to selected portfolio clients
Experience & skills
- Hold a university degree with a major related to banking; Masterās degree preferred
- Possess at least 15 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of corporate banking products, credit risk management, and portfolio management
- Maintain in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry practices for international corporate clients
- Exhibit proven experience in Global Account Management, KPI implementation, and balanced scorecard frameworks
- Ensure capability in credit assessment, due diligence, and approval recommendation processes
- Show experience managing multicultural teams and large international corporate portfolios
