Job description

This Purchasing Manager role sits within the Fabric & Home Care category for the Middle East and Africa region, based out of the Dubai general office. Part of the wider Purchasing, or Sourcing, team, the position supports and assists in executing purchasing strategies for that specific category rather than owning them outright. Strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and cost optimization sit at the heart of the broader Purchasing job family this role belongs to. You'll participate in developing and implementing new procurement techniques, procedures, services or products, working under guidance rather than independently. Specific tasks and segments within the category get handled under close supervision, following detailed procedures and well established precedents for purchasing activity. Collaborative relationships within the team matter here, and learning opportunities come built into the role as skills develop over time. Change management initiatives for new processes also fall within scope, again supported closely by more experienced colleagues.
