Job description
The Director of Human Resources at Jumeirah Al Naseem is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping and executing the HR strategy across one of Dubaiās most prestigious beachfront properties within the Madinat Jumeirah resort. The role ensures alignment with Jumeirah Groupās corporate HR direction and regional objectives, focusing on building a high-performing, people-first culture in a luxury hospitality environment. The Director provides strategic oversight of all HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, nationalization initiatives, performance management, and organizational design. This role plays a pivotal part in fostering leadership capability across senior and middle management, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. The position requires oversight of annual HR budgets and capital expenditures, ensuring accurate Profit & Loss management and cost optimization. Additionally, the Director is responsible for advancing Emiratization and internship programs, supporting national development, and ensuring that HR policies and structures promote both flexibility and sustainable growth. The successful candidate will bring a proven record of strategic HR leadership in large-scale hospitality operations, exceptional people management capabilities, and the ability to deliver business transformation through talent strategy and organizational alignment.

- Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to the HR team to enhance knowledge, skill sets, and performance levels.
- Develop and execute the propertyās HR strategy in alignment with corporate and regional HR directives.
- Monitor and evaluate HR strategy implementation to ensure objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
- Drive a continuous improvement agenda focused on productivity optimization and leadership capability development.
- Manage the annual HR budget and capital expenditure process, ensuring sound financial governance and reporting accuracy.
- Oversee Profit & Loss performance for HR operations to maintain fiscal discipline and strategic alignment.
- Propose and implement organizational structure changes using best-practice models to enhance flexibility and scalability.
- Lead and support nationalization initiatives, including the employment and development of UAE nationals and university interns.
- Cultivate a performance-driven culture that supports employee engagement, retention, and professional growth.
- Advise senior management on HR policy, labour relations, and workforce planning to ensure operational excellence.
- Ensure HR practices comply with UAE labour laws, company standards, and global HR best practices.
- Support internal mobility and talent progression across the Jumeirah network through strategic career pathways.
- Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work environment aligned with Jumeirahās brand values.
- Champion employee well-being, diversity, and engagement initiatives to enhance organizational culture and reputation.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorās degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources Management, including direct responsibility for large-scale operations and budgets.
- Demonstrate proven expertise in developing and executing HR strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Show strong leadership and team management capabilities to inspire and guide diverse HR professionals.
- Exhibit advanced budgeting, P&L management, and capital expenditure planning skills.
- Have a solid understanding of labour law compliance and organizational development principles within the hospitality sector.
- Display excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to handle complex HR challenges.
- Be adept at driving national development initiatives, including Emiratization and internship programs.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for an international luxury hospitality environment.
- Bring experience in talent management, succession planning, and performance-driven culture development.
