Job description
The Alternative Capital Formation (ACF) Analyst role within Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management in Doha is part of the Client Solutions Group focusing on private credit and alternative investment fundraising. The role supports product specialists across the full marketing, structuring, and capital raising lifecycle for private credit funds and separately managed accounts (SMAs). It involves collaborating with internal stakeholders including investment teams, fund finance, legal, compliance, and client advisory teams to execute fundraising strategies and engage institutional and private investors. The position requires preparation of investor-facing materials such as marketing presentations, commercial proposals, performance updates, educational content, and data-driven insights that support capital raising efforts. The analyst also manages due diligence questionnaires, supports investor inquiries, organizes and maintains data rooms, and ensures accurate and timely responses to client requests. The role includes analyzing portfolio metrics and investment strategies to support messaging and investor communications across private credit strategies. It requires maintaining high levels of accuracy, managing multiple concurrent priorities under tight deadlines, and contributing to the development of market intelligence and competitive positioning within alternative investments including private credit, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, secondaries, GP stakes, and hedge funds.

Key responsibilities
- Support product specialists in executing the full marketing, structuring, and fundraising cycle for private credit funds and separately managed accounts (SMAs) within alternative investments
- Prepare and update investor-facing materials including marketing presentations, commercial proposals, performance updates, educational content, and data-driven investment insights
- Collaborate with investment teams, legal, compliance, fund finance, and client advisors to execute fundraising strategies and ensure alignment across stakeholders
- Manage and respond to due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), investor requests, and client inquiries while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of information
- Organize and maintain investor data rooms and ensure proper documentation, version control, and accessibility of investment-related materials
- Analyze portfolio performance metrics and investment data to support investor communications and enhance messaging on private credit strategies
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support client meetings, investor discussions, and ongoing fundraising activities
- Conduct market research and build competitive intelligence to improve positioning and distribution of alternative investment products
- Prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, asset management, capital markets, or a related financial services role
- Exhibit strong analytical, financial, and data interpretation skills relevant to investment and portfolio analysis
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing investor materials and stakeholder presentations
- Show strong understanding of alternative investments including private credit, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge funds
- Demonstrate experience with due diligence processes including DDQs, investor inquiries, and data room management
- Exhibit strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with investment teams, clients, and senior stakeholders
