The Client Sales Manager Fintech – Vice President role within Deutsche Bank’s Institutional Cash and Trade (ICT) division in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a senior front-office sales leadership position responsible for driving the MENA FinTech sales strategy across cross-border payments and cash management solutions. ICT is a global corporate banking business providing payments, FX solutions, liquidity management, trade finance, and lending services across more than 140 markets, and this role focuses specifically on expanding fintech client coverage and generating new business acquisition across the MENA region. The position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with fintech clients and prospects to grow cross-border payments business and enable cross-sell opportunities across cash and trade products. The role involves close collaboration with product management, technology teams, and corporate cash specialists to develop tailored client solutions aligned with market demand and regulatory requirements. The Vice President represents ICT at industry forums and client seminars as a subject matter expert in fintech and cross-border payments, strengthening market presence and thought leadership. A critical aspect of the role is managing KYC and AML risk for the fintech portfolio, ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and financial crime prevention standards. The role reports directly to the Head of Fintech Sales for Cash & Trade Finance and holds responsibility for sales performance and P&L outcomes. It requires the ability to translate regulatory expectations into operational models, technology controls, dashboards, and reporting frameworks while engaging confidently with internal stakeholders and external regulators. The position demands expertise in cross-border payments, liquidity solutions, and financial crime compliance, combined with experience in technology or digital delivery environments such as systems integration, engineering, or solutions design.

Key responsibilities
- Drive MENA FinTech sales strategy to achieve revenue targets through new client acquisition, targeted sales campaigns, and cross-border payments growth initiatives
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with fintech clients and prospects to expand cross-border payments business and generate cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborate with product management, technology, and corporate cash teams to design and deliver client solutions based on market demand and regulatory requirements
- Represent Institutional Cash and Trade at industry forums, conferences, and client seminars as a subject matter expert in fintech and cross-border payments
- Manage KYC, AML, sanctions screening, and financial crime risk across fintech client portfolios ensuring full regulatory and internal policy compliance
- Translate regulatory requirements into operating models, technology controls, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for business and compliance alignment
- Oversee sales performance and P&L responsibility while ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and revenue targets
- Engage with regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, risk alignment, and successful implementation of fintech solutions
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate proven experience in cross-border payments, liquidity management, or corporate banking cash management solutions
- Possess strong ability to bridge client objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology delivery including systems integration or digital solutions design
- Demonstrate prior experience in technology or digital delivery roles such as engineering, solutions design, or system integration (preferred)
- Show strong understanding of regulatory frameworks including KYC, AML, sanctions screening, and financial crime compliance in regulated financial services
- Demonstrate ability to translate regulatory expectations into operating models, dashboards, controls, and reporting mechanisms
- Possess experience in fintech, corporate banking, or institutional payments environments with exposure to cross-border financial systems
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills with ability to engage regulators, internal teams, and senior leadership effectively
- Possess leadership and sales capability with responsibility for revenue generation and P&L management in a financial services environment
- Demonstrate strong analytical, data-driven mindset with familiarity in AI for business, data analytics, and agile product management
- Be fluent in English with additional languages considered an advantage
